Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience practicing law, with a strong background in both corporate law and law office practice. The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support in addition to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and representing clients in corporate transactions and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Providing legal advice and counsel including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, employment law, and other corporate matters.
  • Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and other corporate transactions.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, conducting legal research as needed to follow regulatory changes and developments affecting the company and its clients.
  • Representing the company in corporate litigation matters, including disputes, arbitration, and other legal proceedings, and collaborating with external legal counsel as necessary to resolve legal disputes effectively.
  • Identifying and assessing legal risks and providing proactive guidance and solutions to mitigate risks and protect the interests of the company.

Requirements​/Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in law
  • Being a member of the Egyptian Bar Association
  • 4-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with experience working in both corporate and law office environments.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic both written and spoken
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
