Job Description

A USA-based pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced and motivated Frontend Developer to join their innovative startup.

As a key member of their startup, you will focus on creating user-centric, responsive, and engaging web applications. Your expertise in frontend technologies will drive the user interface and experience, making their products accessible and seamless for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into interactive and responsive UI solutions.
  • Implement pixel-perfect UIs and ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate with RESTful APIs and streamline communication between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, user experience issues, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables and a smooth user experience.

Requirements​/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, preferably in a startup or small team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, Next.js).
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and experience with cross-browser testing.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and frontend testing frameworks.
Minimum Experience:
  • Two years of professional experience in frontend development with React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
Preferred:
  • Five years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.
