Job Description

Our partner, one of the benchmark players in local banking, serving millions internationally, is looking for an internal Auditor to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing familiarize himself/herself with all new local & Group regulations.
  • Perform all the Audit assignments related to this area as an Auditor according to the placed Audit plan.
  • Contribute in the Oral debriefing and Audit report writing in a timely and professional manner in all Audit assignments he/she is contributing on.
  • Ongoing follow up all Audit recommendations, and ensure that the Audit database (My Audit) is updated during the follow up mission.
  • Evaluating the efficiency of the company’s internal control system and reporting to the company’s Chairman and audit committee on the findings reached in this regard.
  • Evaluating the extent of commitment of all company departments to carry out their functions in accordance with the established work procedures and policies, with no conflict with the competencies of the other concerned department.
  • Assessing the efficiency of the procedures and policies established and their suitability with work and market developments.
  • Follow-up to the rectification of the findings stated in the internal and external audit reports,
  • Submitting a report at least quarterly to both the company’s top management and Audit Committee on the results of the Internal Audit Department’s activities and the extent of the company’s adherence to the provisions of laws and regulations governing its business, and also it compliance with the Governance Rules in coordination with the internal controller (Compliance Officer).

Requirements​/Qualifications

  • Graduated from well recognized universities
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Experienced in reputable firms (PWC, KPMG, reputable firms) will be an asset.
  • Post graduate studies (CIA, CPA, and MBA) will be an asset.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority
  • An enquiring analytical mindset
  • Methodical and systematic in work approach
  • Very Good command of Computer skills (Word, excel & power point).
  • Excellent Command of English Language both written & spoken.
  • Articulate, confident communicator and presenter
