Job Description

The Junior Technical Recruiter will assist in the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles. This includes sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for candidates in various technical disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Reports to: Senior Technical Recruiter / Recruitment Manager

Responsibilities

Sourcing and Screening:

Use various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to identify and attract potential candidates.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate suitability.

Candidate Engagement:

Maintain and update candidate databases.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future openings.

Coordination:

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Assist in organizing and attending recruitment events, job fairs, and meetups.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Senior Technical Recruiter and hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role.
Provide support in creating job descriptions and posting job ads.
Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.
Assist with onboarding processes for new hires.

Requirements​/Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:

0-2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field. Experience in technical recruiting is a plus.

Skills:

Strong interest in technology and technical roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
