Job Description

A USA-based pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced and motivated UI/UX Designer to join their innovative startup.

They are looking for a creative and user-focused UX/UI Designer to join their growing team. As an integral part of their design and development team, you will craft intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing experiences for their web and mobile applications. Your expertise in user-centered design principles, combined with your skill in design tools like Figma and Adobe XD, will help shape how users interact with their products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype user-centric web and mobile interfaces using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and others.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend and backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive, responsive, and accessible design solutions.
  • Conduct user research, create personas, and develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to guide the design process.
  • Iterate on design ideas based on user feedback, usability testing, and team insights to continually enhance the user experience.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across the product.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, UI best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve product design.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

Requirements​/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD, with a deep understanding of their features and collaborative workflows.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with prototyping, wireframing, and creating interactive mockups.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
Minimum Experience:
  • Two years of professional UX/UI design experience.
Preferred:
  • Five years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on designing for complex web and mobile applications.
